Notice of Applying Exit Permit for Chinese Citizens

Work time:

From monday to friday: 8:30---11:30 A.M.; 13:00---17:00 P.M.

Weekends: 8:30---11:30 A.M.; 13:00---16:30 P.M.

No acceptation during legal holidays

Extending service at noon

Working time on Saturday and Sunday

Management of state functionary:

State functionary refers to who has been registered in public security authorities, including state functionary, active-duty military personnel and people’s armed police. For state functionary, document with seal affixed issued by their organization or unit are necessary for application.

Documents needed for applying passport

1. Photos for passport. Photos should meet the criterion of Instruction of Photos for Exit and Entry Permit.

2. Completely filled application form with recent photo of applicant.

3. ID card and Household Registration Booklet with copies. For applicants whose ID card is under process of application, renewal or reissue, temporary ID card is necessary for application.

4. Other documents provided by exit and entry administration office of provincial public security bureau for further approval issued by entry administration office of public security ministry.

For applicants who are under 16 years old, besides documents above, supervision certificate (including birth certificate, household registration booklet and etc.) and ID card with copy of legal guardian are needed for application. ID card is not necessary for applicants who do not hold.

For applicants who are under 16 years old, should be accompanied by legal guardian. If legal guardian could not accompany, entrusting others to accompany applicant is also acceptable. And proxy issued by legal guardian, ID card or passport (with copy) of attendant is needed to provide. According to the No.4, Article 11 of Working Process of Electronic Passport Endorsement of People’s Republic of China, “checking opinions of legal guardian. For applicant who are under 16 years old, check whether all his or her legal guardians are agreed with the application or not.”
