'The Joint Exhibition of the Tea Horse Road Cultural Relics' opened at Liaoning Provincial Museum

<The Tea Horse Road---The Joint Exhibition of Cultural Relics of 8 Provinces in Western China> opened at Liaoning Provincial Museum yesterday and will last till June 11.This exhibition is sponsored by Chinese Museums Association Silk Road Museums Specialized Committee, and jointly hosted by Yunnan Provincial Museum, Sichuan Provincial Museum, Museum of Tibet Autonomous Region, Gansu Provincial Museum, Qinghai Provincial Museum, Museum of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Inner Mongolia Museum and Shanxi Historical Museum. 342 culutral relics gathered from 12 museums of these 8 provinces will show the connection among the Tea Horse Road, Land Silk Road and Prairie Silk Road, the close relationship between tea and social life in ancient China, and the 'tea and milk mingled' life style and customs of nomadic people. The exhibition will show the audiences the Tea Horse Road, the world's highest 'transportation lifeline', and let them appreciate the local conditions and customs of the places along the Tea Horse Road.
