Jiang Youwei met with the guests from Uganda and Japan respectively

On the evening of September 13, Shenyang mayor Jiang Youwei met with friendship and trade delegation led by Esther Mbulakubuza Mbayo, Minister of the Presidency in the Ugandan Cabinet, and Yuri Konno, special counselor of Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and president of Japanese Dial Service Corp respectively. They are all the guests who come to Shenyang to attend the 18th World Winter Cities Conference for Mayors.

Jiang Youwei extended congratulations to Ugandan delegation for the fruitful results gained during their stay in Shenyang. He said Shenyang Municipal Government pays high attention to the exchange and cooperation with cities of Uganda, and highly values the sister-city relationship with Jinja. It's hoped that the two cities can enhance the exchanges and communication, constantly expand the cooperation area and lead the cooperation to a deeper level.

Esther Mbulakubuza Mbayo hopes to further enhance the cooperation in education and trade with Shenyang.

Isaac Isanga Musumba, State Minister for Regional Foreign Affairs of Uganda and Jsambila Titus Mutunda, mayor of Jinja attended the meeting.

Jiang Youwei said he hopes that Shenyang can have more exchanges with industry and commerce circles and personages of all circles of Japan when meeting Yuri Konno. He hopes that the two sides can have more cooperation in industrial development, scientific and technological innovation, talent cultivation, service for the aged and pension industry. It's hoped that the two sides can have more communication in the application of new technology, new business models, new science and technology achievements and achieve mutual benefit and development.

Yuri Konno gave a good appraisal to the social and economic development of Shenyang. She said she will positively publicize Shenyang to Japan and further promote exchange and cooperation between Shenyang and Japanese industry and commerce circles.
