Shenyang sees revenue growth in first three quarters

Shenyang saw steady growth in fiscal revenue during the first three quarters of this year, according to the province's finance department.

The city achieved general public budget revenue of 54.68 billion yuan ($7.88 billion), marking a year-on-year increase of 11.2 percent, 7.6 percentage points higher in growth.

Specifically, in the first three quarters, Shenyang's tax revenue reached 44.04 billion yuan, up 8.6 percent year-on-year. Non-tax revenue reached 10.63 billion yuan, up 23.4 percent year-on-year.

In addition, the province's general public budget expenditure during the period was 68 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.1 percent. The city spending went into education and municipal employment, social security, healthcare and family planning, as well as the agriculture and forestry departments.
